Solution :
From the given figure, [tex]\triangle TYK \:and \:\triangle TYV[/tex] are congruent
[tex]\Rightarrow[/tex] TY = TY
[tex]\Rightarrow[/tex] angle TYK = angle TYV =90 and
[tex]\Rightarrow[/tex] angle YTK = angle YTV (from the figure)
By ASA postulate, [tex]\triangle TYK \cong \triangle TYV[/tex]
[tex]\Rightarrow \frac{TK}{TV} = \frac{YK}{YV} \\\\
\Rightarrow \frac{168}{95.2} = \frac{YK}{34} \\\\
\Rightarrow YK=\frac{168}{95.2}\times34=60[/tex]
x = VY+YK = 34 +60 = 94
Hence , x= 94 cm
