According to the social learning theory, Timothy is learning gender roles through direct reinforcement. This is an arrangement in which the individual’s reinforcement is being obtained by having to complete a certain task in which after he realize of what his friends told him after the incident, it made him want to do things in a different way just so that he won’t be teased again.
