As we know that the angles opposite to the equal sides are equal . Hence the measure of two base angles will be 8x - 23° . Also we know that the angle sum property of a triangle is 180° . So ,

[tex]\sf\longrightarrow[/tex] 16x -12° = 180°

[tex]\sf\longrightarrow[/tex] x = 12°
Hence the required answer is 12° .
