Tank 1 :

height = 2x-2

length = 4x

y = l w h

  = (4x) (x) (2x-2)

  = (4[tex]x^{2}[/tex]) (2x-2)

  = 8[tex]x^{3}[/tex]-8[tex]x^{2}[/tex]

Tank 2:

height = 6x

length = 2x-1

y = l w h

  = (2x-1) (x) (6x)

  = (2[tex]x^{2}[/tex]-x) (6x)

  = 12[tex]x^{3}[/tex]-8[tex]x^{2}[/tex]

I think it is the second option but I am not sure because the picture is very unclear. Do double check with the answers I have worked out.
